There are different paraglider models. There are a few things to consider when choosing the right model:
- How often do I fly?
- How long will I fly?
- Am I a beginner or a professional?
- How and where do I want to fly?

Paraglider models are available in three different designs. Some pilots value "double skin" paraglider models with maximum gliding performance, good handling, scale appearance, quick opening after collapses and a high speed range. Others value the extremely stable "collapse resistance" and good handling of the "hybrid" paraglider models. Still others value the simplicity and safety of a "single skin" paraglider model. Our soon-to-be-available double skin and hybrid paraglider models have RAST® valves installed in each cell in order to delay a "collapse" for as long as possible in the event of a malfunction on the one hand and to reopen the collapse very quickly by only partially emptying the cells on the other. The paraglider cell therefore has different pressure ranges compared to the conventional design.
