What makes an excellent RC paraglider system?

A perfect RC paraglider system consists of a pilot model in the harness, the harness itself, and a precisely tuned paraglider. These components are optimally coordinated to ensure stable flight performance.

RC paragliders are available in three versions, each tailored to different needs:

Double-skin models: These paragliders impress with maximum gliding performance, precise handling, a realistic appearance, quick opening after malfunctions (“collapses”) and a wide speed range.

Hybrid models: These models offer outstanding stability against disturbances, coupled with good handling, and are ideal for pilots who value reliability.

Single-skin models: The simplest and safest option, ideal for beginners and those who prefer uncomplicated handling.

Our new double-skin and hybrid paraglider models are equipped with the innovative RAST® system. This system ensures that wing failures are delayed as long as possible. Should a failure occur, the cells only partially deflate, allowing the failure to be resolved quickly and effectively. Thanks to the different pressure zones in the paraglider cells, this design offers significantly greater stability and safety than conventional constructions.

I started with a small paraglider 1.5 years ago and quickly became enthusiastic about this branch of model aircraft. After a brief online search, I came across Para Aviation RC and immediately ordered a Noah "Free" for my glider. Of course, it didn't stop there. I now have a Stable 2.1 Race Rast and a Phasor 2.3 Rast, as well as the Rocket V2. The quality of the products is beyond reproach. The considerable time invested in the development of the paragliders and accessories simply pays off. Everything is thought through down to the smallest detail and manufactured to a high standard. What is just as important to me, however, is the support and service. You are never left alone with problems. Every inquiry was responded to promptly. Not only is every spare part available, but I also received intensive help flying my gliders. This started with a one-day training session and continued with a comprehensive analysis of the videos I sent afterward, when I was struggling with beginner's problems during takeoff. My first contact with para Aviation/Rico Priesnitz was due to a repair order. It involved repairing a tear in the fabric of my Hacker Cloud 1.5. From the very beginning, Rico provided me with professional and friendly support. Of course, we didn't just talk about the repair, but also about paraglider technology in general. It quickly became apparent that I was dealing with a professional who knew what he was doing. The discussions ultimately culminated, in addition to the repair order, in an order for a glider (STABLE 2.1 race RAST) with the Rocket V2 harness. Delivery took place within a few days, and assembly of the gondola could begin. Assembly was quite simple thanks to the well-structured instructions. The gondola components are manufactured with extreme precision and fit perfectly. The sticking point for me was programming the transmitter (Jeti DS12). Here, too, I received very quick and straightforward help from Rico Priesnitz.

The first flight took place this summer on the Tannenalm in ideal conditions and went off without a hitch. Of course, I still need some practice before I can fully utilize and enjoy all the capabilities of the glider. Therefore, I decided to take a training session with Rico Priesnitz at his location. This should take place in the next few days.

Conclusion:

I can wholeheartedly recommend Para Aviation – Rico Priesnitz Engineering. Their products are constantly being developed and represent the latest state of the art. The support from Rico and his team has always been and continues to be excellent. I have become a delighted customer.
